Boys Day is the 5th day of the 5th month, The ceremony is to bring happiness and growth....some say for prosperity. Kabuto is stored in and displayed during Gogatus on a black box with gold plated details with a wooden stand that you drape a silk cloth on and rest the helmet on. It also has a wooden plaque. There is a grommet missing on the display leg but otherwise in very good used condition. Such a beautiful display of artistic skill and Japanese Ceremony and culture.
