Veuve Perrin made in Marseilles, France 1748-1803. Faïence wares pottery was pre paste porcelain and used tin glaze and enamel . This Pot Couvert with grotesque handles is beautifully made, It was converted to a lamp in the early 20th Century, with 3 sockets. . I am offering it with a very nice beaded shade. Sadly the lamp has sustained significant damage over the years, however it's still rare and unique. It would be a perfect Kintsugi art project. The chain pulls are missing, see photo's for repair and chips. The lamp can be rewired I have kept everything intact to show the age of the lamp conversion period based on the age of the wiring. The lamp is a 3 socket lamp. Weighs 10 lbs 8 ozs. H 32 1/2 in W 9 in without shade. I ship across the USA & am willing to meet up in Kitsap, Mason & Pierce Counties. This is a difficult one for me to price because of it's history, rarity and beauty and balancing it with the obvious damage. The Price is OBO.
