1835 Audubon
Nicely framed girl in dress. This old print marked Audubon numbered on back. The original oil on canvas in the permanent collection at the National Art Gallery, Washington DC. Even though marked on the back the artist is unknown 1835 according to my research.
The back is marked Audubon , #6263 portrait of a girl 1835. This print is possibly a portrait done by Victor W Audubon of his future wife Georgianna Mallory, Mary Elizabeth Bachman, Maria Rebecca Bachman, or Caroline Hall. I am so curious to know more about this one. Regardless the whole package is a nice decorative piece.
